Role of smart city technologies in education sector

Abstract

Soon our cities will become "Smart" cities. It implies that such digital technologies will be used in these cities that will not only make the life style of its citizens better, qualitative, endowed with smart digital atmosphere and quick solutions but also curtail the use of and expenditure on the natural resources. In the present paper, the role of the smart city technologies in the education sector has been analysed and the effective suggestions to enhance the quality based education to be adopted by the academic institutions have also been suggested.
