Environmental feelings of Maharishi Valmiki

Abstract

Environmental pollution is the major problem today. Efforts are being made to solve this at the international and national levels all over the world, but there is a complete lack of sensation towards the environment in the public mind. This is the reason why despite all efforts at every level, the desired results are not being found in this direction. The literature of Maharishi Valmiki is the source of inspiration in this direction. His environmental love was not for any economic gain or fame. They lived in the forest and trees and wildlife were the part of their family. Today there is a strong need to revive the said spirit. If we follow the spirit of our ancestors, then naturally there will be an emotional attachment to the environment. In the present article, an environmental feeling ofMaharishi Valmiki is inquired.
