Giloy (Tinospora Cordifolia) is a climbing shrub, belongs to family Menispermaceae. It is commonly known as Guduchi, Amrita, Gurach and Tinospora etc. Giloy helps to remove toxins, purifies blood, fights bacteria that causes diseases, combats liver diseases and urinary tr act infections. "Giloy is used by experts in treating heart related conditions, and is also useful in treating infertility". Recently the discovery of active components from the plant and their biological function in disease control has led to active interest in the plant across the globe.
