Abstract

Ghora-Katora, a fresh water lake located near Rajgir of Nalanda District in Bihar is now a well known tourist place having beautiful natural habitat with well protected fauna and flora. It has now been developed as a bird sanctuary. About 37 species of birds including 8 migratary have been observed to inhabit the area during different seasons of the year.
