Abstract

This research paper focuses on assessing security challenges along the unregulated India-Nepal borders, analyzing the complexities and security-related issues between India and Nepal. The border stretches approximately 1,751 kilometers and is influenced by natural barriers and cultural connections. The study explores various security challenges such as illegal trade, human trafficking, and terrorism that arise due to these irregular borders. This research paper also examines how social, economic, and political factors affect these security issues. Despite the deep cultural ties and political cooperation between India and Nepal, there are serious concerns regarding border security. Finally, the study offers suggestions on how improved collaboration, technological measures, and effective policies can address these challenges. This research represents a significant step toward new perspectives and solutions in the field of border security.
