Abstract
The North-West- Himalaya in the most calamition terrain and is the foci of the recurrent Land- Slide events. Slides are very common features in the fragile environment of the Chamoli in Joshimath district of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand has faced much natural disaster such a flash flood, cloud burst, Land Slide, Earth Quakes in the last 3 decades.
