Some aspects related to Tiger (Panthera tigis)in the historical perspective of South Rajasthan

Abstract

Wide line once tiger was extensively distributed in South Rajasthan. They were present in good numbers also. After independence, this decent cat became extinct from the area between 1970 and 1980. Many unknown aspects releted to tigers of South Rajasthan have been presented in this paper which are worth recording.
